Penalty Abatement Program

Find out whether past IRS penalties may qualify for relief.

If you have ever been assessed IRS penalties in prior tax years, you may qualify for First-Time Penalty Relief. Our Penalty Abatement Program is designed to review your IRS account, identify eligible penalties, and prepare the request for relief on your behalf.

First-Time Penalty Relief Review – $200

For a flat $200 fee, we will review your IRS account to determine whether you qualify for First-Time Penalty Relief for any penalties ever assessed, going back to the year 2000.

This service includes:

  • Reviewing your IRS account for prior penalties
  • Determining whether you qualify for First-Time Penalty Relief
  • Preparing the penalty relief request
  • Mailing the request to the IRS on your behalf

What we need from you

To complete the review, a signed IRS Power of Attorney (POA) is required so we can access your IRS account information. If you filed jointly, your spouse would also need to sign a POA.

Why this matters

Many taxpayers do not realize they may qualify for penalty relief on prior IRS penalties. This review helps identify whether relief is available and allows us to take the next steps for you.
